[Guide] How to Install DotA AI & Old DotA AI Maps Collection

- AI maps are basically the same as a regular DotA map, with the exception that you can add AI (Artificial Intelligence, meaning computer controlled) players to the game.
- Ported v1.52 versions by BuffMePlz are considered the same AI.
- Some of maps in here may be compressed using .zip or .rar --> to unzip them, first download Winrar.
- After you have download the map, put it on your "Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne" map folder. For example: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\maps\download. You also need the latest patch for WarCraft III: TFT from Blizzard. When you start up WarCraft III: TFT, in the bottom right hand corner of the main screen, it should say "1.22.0.6328". If it doesn't, then download the latest patch (1.22.0.6238) at Here
- To play with AI (computer) players, set the open slot to Computer (easy/normal/insane).
- Please note that AI maps are not easy to create, and it may take some time for a decent AI for the latest map. You may often find that the newest AI map is a few versions behind the latest DotA version.
- Type -fun in the beginning (as a separate mode) to choose heroes from the fun tavern (only applies to BuffMePlz maps (6.49c, 6.51, 6.53) that have the fun tavern)
